So, when Bentley Motors approached us in the hope that we would open our doors to their film crew, and allow people to see the work involved in manufacturing such an iconic ‘mascot’, we were only too happy to oblige….
Lestercast have proudly been manufacturing the iconic ‘Flying B’ on behalf of Bentley Motors, using investment casting techniques, for over 14 years.
The upright bonnet mascot is now on it’s sixth iteration, spanning over one hundred years, with the latest being the most complex, having crystal wings which illuminate as part of the lighting welcome sequence. The mascot, symbolising quality and precision, is finished in mirror polished 316 stainless steel and is also available in black gloss.
