We’re constantly improving on our facilities here at Lestercast and this week is no exception.
With increased business sales, the need for storage of materials and stock needs to be enhanced proportionally, of course. We have therefore, as part of our ongoing Lean Manufacturing processes, installed a brand new racking system today in our Inspection department and material stores warehouse here at our Leicester premises to cater for the increased demand on space.
Before the rack installation
The added storage will mean that we have the capacity to hold three times the quantity of materials and stock than before. The racking installed, with the pallets loaded has now made an immense impact on our stores and the space available within the warehouse.
Simple but effective – all pallets are now loaded on the Lestercast racking.
