Micky Gahir, our ‘Finishing Team Leader’ has achieved a phenomenal 40 years of service here at Lestercast and with that in mind we didn’t let it go unnoticed this week.

On starting with Lestercast in 1978, Micky was employed as an assistant in our Wax Room and graduating through the ranks, Micky is now a senior Team Leader within the Foundry and is a hugely valuable and well respected member of staff.

In any business, the people are the greatest asset, they are the ones every day delivering services for our clients and as the face of Lestercast, the ones our customers see and interact with on a daily basis. Without them we would not have the successful business we have today.

In celebration, Micky was taken out for a meal and presented with some specifically chosen gifts to show our appreciation for the dedication he has shown to our organisation over the past 4 decades.

Micky said that with a lot of hard work and his personal goals in mind, over the years he has achieved these working here at Lestercast.
