Colin Caine
General Manager
As General Manager, I am responsible for every casting supplied by us, whether it be manufactured in our UK foundry or in our partner foundry overseas. A substantial part of my role involves customer communication, predominantly with progress of orders and ensuring that we meet our delivery targets. I am also heavily involved in the financial aspects of the business, sales targets, quality issues and with HR.
Supporter of Manchester City & Altrincham (Alty) Football Club and occasionally tries to hit a golf ball straight! Colin’s catchphrase – “Bring it on!”
Martyn Whelpton
Business Development Executive
Whilst continuing to support the rest of the team on both Technical and Operational aspects of the business, my semi-retirement role allows me to focus on the wider corporate aspects of the business, to include implementing strategies to minimise operating costs, develop and improve operational processes and help grow the business for its future success.
A bit of a petrol head! – I enjoy watching anything on two or four wheels that is fast and loud. Hobbies include DIY, Field Target Shooting & Golf. I enjoy watching most sports as well as being an armchair supporter of Chesterfield FC – well someone has to!

Responsible for internal and external marketing for Lestercast. Covering all aspects of marketing, such as event and exhibition organising, graphic design and digital marketing.
Enjoys days to the coast with the kids, woodland walks with the dog and binge watching a good crime series with a glass of wine (or two…)

Craig Townsend
Production Manager
Plan and control the entire manufacturing process, ensuring that orders are on schedule and processing orders to customer requirements.
I am focused on helping to make Lestercast the best privately owned investment casting facility in the UK.
A family supporting, production planning, food and drink indulging, Aston Villa supporter and all round sports enthusiast!
Russell Gray
Technical Manager
A big part of my role at Lestercast is to offer technical support to the team, particularly in the development of new parts, tooling, samples and casting techniques. I also provide technical support and component advice to customers during product development of new and existing parts.
One of the few people that would admit to being from Lincoln. Ex-petrolhead who enjoys driving fast cars slowly due to the need to transport two children. I enjoy the thought of exercise, whilst feasting on a good curry.

My role focuses on driving continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing process and our supply base. Implementation of the company’s quality policies and procedures, maintaining and updating the company’s Quality Management System to the relevant standards. On-going compliance with customer requirements and customer support.

Responsibilities to organise and oversee all work within the accounts department.
Spending time with family & friends including irresistibly contagious laughter and good humour. Loves trying new things, walking in the countryside, cooking new recipes & spending time making my garden a beautiful place to relax.
Erikka Clarke
Accounts Administrator
Responsible for the Sales Ledger & Credit Control within Lestercast.
Time spent outside of work mainly consists of keeping 2 very young humans fed, watered and entertained. In her very rare spare time she enjoys cooking, baking, exercising, reading and she is a TV & Movie binge watcher.
HR / HS Administrator & Maintenance
Cheryl Ross
HR / HS Administrator
Responsible for people (HR) and Health & Safety, helping to ensure the company complies with its statutory obligations and provide a safe and healthy working environment for everyone.
Time outside of work is enjoyed with friends and family, any excuse for a get together for a fun time to enjoy eating (anything not too spicy or cooked by me!), partaking in a little cocktail or two and love a binge watch of a good drama.
Chris Strong
Maintenance Engineer
Responsible for the maintenance of the machinery across the whole site. Responsible for installations and repairs, so that Lestercast can operate at full capacity.
I spend my free time working on, and driving my vintage cars. I also enjoy holidays away in my caravan, walking the dogs and spending time with my grandchildren.
