Lestercast are proud to announce their success in winning two awards at the Family Business Awards 2014, at Nottingham Trent University last week. The company won the first ever Employer of the Year Award, sponsored by Becketts Farm, and received the Highly Commended Award in the Manufacturing Excellence category, sponsored by Barclays. Lestercast were nominated as finalists for both awards, alongside six other Midlands organisations in each category.
Lestercast are delighted with both of these awards, as they recognise both the positive and collaborative approach in which its outstanding workforce operates, and confirms the company’s status as a major UK manufacturer of bespoke investment castings, supplying to a global and diverse marketplace which includes a number of high profile and prestigious brands such as Bentley Motors and Jaguar Land Rover.
The company produces components in a range of metals and specialist alloys for both industrial and commercial applications and utilises rapid prototyping and other advanced technologies to enhance their manufacturing capability and promote their ongoing growth. Lestercast holds ISO 9001 and ISO TS16949 accreditations.
